Job Description
Align Treatment Center is an Adolescent Eating Disorder Residential Program that partners Clinicians and Caregivers in the battle against eating disorders. We are committed to utilizing Evidence Based Treatments to effectively build motivation and coping skills for patients, while empowering caregivers with the psychoeducation, tools and support necessary to be more prepared to help their child when they return home. Our mission is to provide superior mental health services and serve as the model for creating an adolescent residential treatment center that unites patients, families, staff, PHP/IOP programs and the community as a whole to join together and help those struggling with eating disorders.
We are seeking competent and compassionate nurses. We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN’s), and New Graduate Registered Nurses (RN’s) to join our team.
Depending on your licensure and scope of practice, you will be responsible for assisting six patients and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will follow a set of protocols to assist in the exceptional care of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate of patients
- Prepare and manage patient charts and medical records through our EMR system, KIPU
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Document all care in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including our medical, clinical and dietary teams
Requirements
- Current CNA, LVN or RN license issued by CA
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved program per licensure
- Experience with adolescents, eating disorders or residential treatment preferred • Must be willing to work nights
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures • Ability to operate medical equipment and follow safety protocols
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to 6 patients and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. You will be working under the supervision of a registered nurse and following a set of protocols to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
